Be Still
I’m writing this blog from sunny Crete while enjoying some much-needed R&R with my teenage son. It’s been so long since I last relaxed without a ‘To Do’ list looming over me!
Of course, there’s plenty to tackle when I return. I recently started supplying my products to Bowlees Visitor Centre at High Force, and they’ve been selling out quickly, so I’ll be busy restocking. I’ll also be preparing my next Art subscription for August and working on a set of positive mindset cards that I’ve been painting during my mindfulness practices. These cards have been so popular that people are already asking for them.
And… a little teaser: after finishing my paintings for this, I’ll be starting a new project based on a children’s story I’ve written. (Stay tuned!)
Since my last blog, where I shared the aftermath of my Dad’s incident, I’ve moved on to a better place. I’ve been focusing on my business and striving to become the best version of myself.
I’m still learning during my new mindfulness practices and I’m meeting some wonderful people along the way.
Through it all, I feel more inspiration in my Art and indeed, in myself, for moving things forward and sometimes, that means leaving some things behind.
Until we meet again,
Helen xx
Hope you both enjoyed your holiday, life is for making memories, glad your dad getting better and your life on the up 😀😎
